George T. B. Kongaika, CEO & Founder

I built this construction trade program in the pursuit of helping low income and underserved communities with the goal of a better career in construction trades. Like myself, I came from a very humble beginning and found myself involved in a LA gang, crime and incarceration. Because of my past, I witnessed first hand what a person has to go through to obtain skills and knowledge just to survive the streets of Los Angeles, California. Though my past and record stopped me from achieving goals of success, it did not stop me from becoming something great. Our team mission is to bring a unique approach to our communities, through an in person construction training program. We serve the formerly incarcerated, Veterans of America, low income families, and the at risk youth, along side with the general population. Through this training and with our team of community leaders, partnering contractors and local outreach programs, we can educate our community and create great success with in the trades. Our efforts and experience over the many years, have created success in career placements in the IBEW, Southwestern Carpenters Union, private contractors and builders. PLC's proof of concepts are proven and successful in delivering a meaningful and accredited training program in the pursuit of individual construction skills and obtaining a successful career. I like to thank God, my family and all the community leaders and past participants in believing in our program, and the good it brings. I want the best for our community and for generations to come. I thank everyone who has given me more than a second chance, that have poured into my life goals and dreams of giving back to the very communities that I once took from.

From the bottom of my heart, Ofa Lahi Atu! (I love you; in Tongan)
